I recently came across an article on The Green Home Guide website which I found quite interesting. “15 Green Projects for Under $500” gives great ideas that anyone can implement in their home. Something as simple as building a clothesline or installing aerators on faucets can make a difference while conserving energy. What's so great about this article is that it leads to another topic I'm excited about, the REGREEN program. This program is a set of resources and tools for green home remodeling projects. The guidelines help make home renovation projects green, from installing a new dishwasher to remodeling a master bathroom or even refurbishing an entire home interior. Following REGREEN guidelines doesn't even have to be much more expensive than a "typical" renovation.
